Mini Colts

About

Mini Colts is Ashtead's popular development centre catering for those that love to kick a ball, it is open to boys or girls aged from 4 to 10 (school years reception to Year 6) as an introduction into football, with emphasis on Fun, Fun, Fun.

Whilst learning the basic fundamentals of the "beautiful game". Mini colts is run by professional coaches and at Ashtead FC we believe that getting this high level of coaching at the young age rather than jumping into teams straight away is more beneficial as a player in their technical development over these early years.

How to join

Mini colts registration is now OPEN for 2025/26

If interested in joining please call "Biscuit" or register via the registration page on this website, they are welcome to come along for a few weeks taster session during September before committing to the season, signing up to monthly subscription allows this as the first payment is in October, but all players need to be registered before attending.

Each player gets their very own personal mini colts squad kit so they feel part of a real football club.

When & where

Mini Colts runs every Saturday afternoon at Downsend School Astroturf (1 Leatherhead Road, near M25).

Running from Saturday 6th September until Easter, the times for each age group are as follows:

Reception:
1pm - 1:45pm

Year 1:
2pm - 3pm

Year 2:
3pm - 4pm

Year 3:
3pm - 4pm

Year 4, 5 & 6:
1pm - 2pm

Every player needs to complete their registration via the registration page on this website and select "mini colts" before attending.

Please ensure they bring a drinking bottle and wear shinpads and either trainers or astro boots. No studded boots or blades to be worn on the astro court.
