Mini Colts - Year 3

Mini Colts is Ashtead's newest age group catering for those that love to kick a ball, it is open to boys or girls aged from 4 to 10 (school years reception to Year 6) as an introduction into football, with emphasis on Fun, Fun, Fun. Whilst learning the basic fundamentals of the "beautiful game". Mini colts is run by professional coaches and at Ashtead FC we believe that getting this high level of coaching at the young age rather than jumping into teams straight away is more beneficial as a player in their technical development over these fundamental years.

If interested in joining please call "Biscuit" or register your interest via the registration page on this website, this will then notify us and once the player is registered, they are welcome to come along for a few weeks taster session during September before committing to the season.

Once committed, we then order them their very own personal mini colts squad kit so they feel part of a real football club.

Mini Colts runs every Saturday afternoon at Downsend School Astroturf. (1 Leatherhead Road, near M25)

Starting Saturday 7th September until Easter

The times for each age group are as follows:

Reception (in Sept) - 1pm - 1:45pm

Year 1 (in Sept) - 2pm - 3pm

Year 2 (in Sept) - 3pm - 4pm

Year 3 (in Sept) - 3pm - 4pm

Year 4, 5 & 6 (in Sept) - 1pm - 2pm

Every player needs to complete their registration via the registration page on this website and select "mini colts" before attending. Initially, the request will be placed on a waiting list and authorised as soon as places become available. Once completed please attend the relevant time above. If you have not received a mail confirming that your request has been authorised then you will still be on the waiting list. At the end of the season ( April) the waiting list gets cleared and will need to re-register around July 1st to have a place in the coming September.

September is used as a trial period ( select pay by cash when registering) and expect those wishing to continue for the remainder of the season to pay in full or by standing order by 1st October. Kits will then be handed out to those that need them after that date.

Please ensure they bring a drinking bottle and wear shinpads and either trainers or astro boots. No studded boots or blades to be worn on the astro court.
