Match Report
We started at a crisp pace then shortly Gabs went off, not giving us much option for subs.
I was nervous before, during and even at the end of the game, but the back 4 were fantastic, all geeing me up to calm me down... thanks guys, it really helped and of course Bully making sure I was concentrating when Cheam had free kicks etc near the goal.
Not to take away any praise from the rest of the team, you all were superb, everyone on the pitch gave it all, midfield closed them down, won many battles and up front we banged them in, well almost there was a couple of very entertaining misses from naught range... what do they say "Never trust an estate agent".
Going one down from a penalty did not help the nerves, but well battled all, you kept going, I said to Bob after we had taken the lead my hands wont stop shaking, he replied, " I can see that, just get stuck in".... enough said...
By the way please don't shoot John, your too far to one side, during the penalty. Honest that was my baldric cunning plan... just that it.. er.. um.. it didn't fully work. I sold him to shoot where I wanted it but, well, I didn't quit reach.. ah well.. hey, hum...
A great team effort, from Toms pre talk about supporting each other and to the older contingency in the team, all played a great part.
What a game, what a result, what a win...... 3 - 1.... and Bully ......That's a Fact!
