Under 10's B

Ashtead performed exceptionally well for the first half of this game against a decent Ewell Saxons team and went in at half time with the score at 1-1 after Louis Illingworth had wiped out the deficit direct from a corner!!

Feeling that they should be in front Ashtead came out for the second half in good spirits but a combination of a very good Ewell Saxons striker, only one sub and a lack of match sharpness cost them as they tired very easily and conceded more goals than they deserved to although the highlight of the half was a fantastic penalty save from Will Gamble, diving full stretch and low to his right.

A good workout, however, in readiness for an even tougher pre-season assignment against Sutton Utd Under 10 Colts later in the week.
